Pasticceria Romeo is an Italian nougat company based in Calabria.
The story of Romeo Dolci&Delizie starts in 1976 when Giovanni Romeo, an ambitious man with a passion for the art of patisserie, decided to start his own business in his hometown, Taurianova.
He put all his craftsmanship and creativity into the new company, and very soon became famous for the “mignon”, or small cream puffs. Nougat was one of his preferred and most loved products, and thanks to his innovative thinking the already the vanilla and gianduja crunchy nougats were followed by Rum, Coffee, Orange and Lemon soft nougats.
In 2014 a completely new and independent nougat and chocolate production facility has been created to increase production capacity and develop new products.
New cutting-edge machinery, skilled craftsmen and our passion for nougat has allowed us to offer new flavors with same quality as before. We use only Sicilian almonds and honey from local producers to make our nougat, and to guarantee freshness, we produce in small batches.
Over the years, our efforts to produce high quality nougat has been appreciated by our increasing customer base, from the small city of Taurianova to many cities in Italy and Europe.
