Our Story
The journey of Pasticceria Romeo began in 1976, when Giovanni Romeo — a visionary pastry chef with a deep passion for the art of patisserie — returned to his hometown of Taurianova to turn his dream into reality.
From the very beginning, Giovanni poured his craftsmanship, creativity, and heart into his work. His delicate mignon pastries quickly earned him a loyal following, while his passion for nougat sparked a wave of innovation: from the classic vanilla and gianduja crunchies to new, irresistible flavors like rum, coffee, orange, and lemon.

In 2014, we opened a brand-new, dedicated facility for nougat and chocolate, designed to expand production and explore fresh ideas. Equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and guided by skilled artisans, we continue to honor our tradition while shaping the future of our craft.
